as if microsoft doesn't have you by the balls, why do you think that any of these three companies are more for the consumer than the other? the fact is they are after your dollars. Sony's just been more successful, don't equate trust with a quality brand to blind brand loyalty, Sony delivers in terms of game systems, and if you learn anything from history it is more likely that they will continue to do so, more so than their counterparts.

i agree. it's funny how pachter could say the most obvious things (things people with foresight noticed in 06), and get quoted like a genius. the funny thing is, not only does he drop these little nuggets of "wisdom" randomly, but when he's wrong people don't ignore him, the just go back for more "wisdom."

Kojima wanted to make a game in which he wouldn't have to compress anything, if you didn't know, compression means loss of quality.
Kojima's objective was to make a game with uncompressed quality, that's why he said that 50 gigs wasn't enough for such a vision.

I would like to see an official statement from rockstar, in any case, it doesn't matter even if it is true because I've never been one to purchase add ons to the games I play.
I've never been an mmo subscriber, nor do I think in the future I will be. I've made the analogy because it's somewhat like purchasing an incomplete game, and we all know that gta 4 will be a complete game alone. therefore I don't think that people who purchase this game on the ps3 will feel shafted.
